1. Shutdown VMs on the host

2. Disable Fault Tolerance and HA

2. Put host into maintenance mode

3. Run the commands below:



Upgrade

details about host and maintenance mode status (including last reboot
time)



Display
what bundles or patches are installed on the host




Display
the contents of the update package (what is available for
install)




Display
which bulletins are applicable to the host

Install
the upgrade

vihostupdate.pl

The
update completed successfully, but the system needs to be rebooted for the
changes to be effective.

NOTE:
The option --bulletin can be used to install a specific patch/bulletin in the
bundle. If you omit the --bulletin argument, vihostupdate will install all the
bulletins in the bundle.
